During the Informational Event, held on June 22, 2022, under the EU Erasmus + Program at Varna Regional Information Center, VEDA presented to local stakeholders the Fairly e-training platform and the training course in 6 modules.

Another informational event, scheduled to be held on June 27, 2022, at VEDA meeting room in Varna, will be organized with the aim to disseminate project related information to more representatives of Fairly project target groups.

HIBIS welcomed us in Oslo 🇳🇴 for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting on the 23rd and 24th of May. Partners reviewed the progress of IO3 and discussed the next steps, with a special focus on the LTTA in Turin and the Multiplier Events in Partners’ countries.

According to OECD survey on the level of financial literacy of population in South East European countries, including Bulgaria, the findings from the self-reported date shows that the largest percentage of respondents in North Macedonia, Romania, and Bulgaria self-estimated their financial knowledge as low or very low, 35%, 33%, 32% respectively.Read More

The IO3 activity included bilateral meetings between organizations with relevant topics for writing and review of the Guide’s chapters. VEDA and CCIL’s representatives have met to discuss and update the chapters 3 and 6 based on the feedback of project target groups- respondents in a specially designed questionnaire for the IO3’s purpose. Fairly is a project developed by 6 different organizations from Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway and Spain, thought to improve the financial knowledge of the population. One of the products of this project was to create a course to teach basic financial knowledge to the population.

Within the Fairly project, the partners have developed a “Practical guide for informed and safe financial choices”. To ensure the highest quality of the guide, the partners created a short questionnaire to be filled in by its potential users in which they had to evaluate the relevance of various topics and sub-topics. The responders not only answered the questions but also, they made their own suggestions, for instance, they wished to read about real life cases and to see practical examples.
